Abras on #Dubai #Creek, #UAE – The #Abras are the traditional boats used in Dubai for crossing the Dubai Creek. They are connecting the two two main areas of Dubai – #Deira with its souks and traditional markets, and #BurDubai with #downtown Dubai and the city’s modern development in the last decades. Definitely worth a trip taking an abra to cross the creek and explore both sides of the city!

The #Fushimi #Inari #Taisha #shrine in #Kyoto, #Japan is one of the oldest #shrines in Kyoto, dated 711 A.D. It’s better known for it’s #paths with hundreds of #traditional, #Japanese #gates – something one has to see when visiting Japan.

#Kinkaku-ji – The #Temple of the #Golden #Pavilion in #Kyoto, #Japan is known as the most popular #Zen #Buddhist #temples in Japan. The temple is partly covered in pure #gold and is said to house #Buddha’s Ashes – due to its importance it is part of Kyoto’s #World #Heritage Site, a must-see when visiting Japan!
