It’s snowing & cold outside, so I thought it would be a good idea to start the new year by looking back on past trips to those #exotic places that you dream about during these times – Visiting #Thailand last year we had the chance to take a trip to the #islands in #Krabi and it is as beautiful as you imagine! Clear blue water, beautiful #beaches and everywhere the iconic #longtail boats carrying you from one island to the next. Definitely one trip you should put on your #bucketlist!
Traveling to #BoraBora, #FrenchPolynesia was probably one of the most #relaxing trips I did – the right place to recharge the batteries, spend some time relaxing on the #beach, go scuba #diving with sharks, explore the #island(s) around, etc. Definitely worth a place on your bucket list!
The #Turtle #Sanctuary in #BoraBora takes cares of injured or hurt #turtles that would not be able to survive in the wild, nursing them back to health and giving them a spot to recover before releasing them back into the wild. The sanctuary is located close to some of the #resorts on the island, the photo shows the area where they can swim around safely and recover – definitely worth a visit!
Beachlife in the #Bahamas – I took this shot along one of the most #beautiful #beaches I have seen on the Great Exuma #island in the Bahamas. Watching the #waves in the clear, #turquoise sea slowly wash over the fine, soft sand was totally relaxing – once you’ve seen this you cannot resist jumping straight into the waves!
The view on part of the #marina in #GeorgeTown, Grand #Exuma – Visiting the #Bahamas was one of the most #relaxing #vacations I had in a long time, something I can highly recommend! And yes – the water is indeed crystal clear in an amazing turquoise tone, just beautiful.
