Watching the #sunset over #Bangkok is a beautiful experience, especially if you get to enjoy it from one of the many #rooftop cocktail bars! I think what surprised me the most was the sheer size of this city – with over 10 million people strong this city in #Thailand offers so much to see and experience, definitely worth a stop on your visit to Asia!
While exploring the sights of #Bangkok I stumbled across the #garden / #temple section of #TheGrandPalace and had to take this shot – it’s a truly #beautiful and well maintained area and I would definitely recommend to put most of the popular temples in Bangkok on your todo list when visiting the city!
The #rooftop of the #Athenee #Hotel in #Bangkok, #Thailand includes a beautiful #garden area with a small shrine for morning prayers – the view is unique and amazing, especially in the #evening with the lights of the bustling city all around. Definitely a recommendation if you’re staying in the city overnight!
#HaLong #Bay in #Vietnam is an amazing place to visit! Even though the weather wasn’t on my side, just stepping onboard one of the local #tour #boats and traveling through the #rocky #cliffs of the bay made my day. Some ancient stories say the rocks were dragons once that fell out of the sky into the bay.
A local fisherman’s boat in #HaLong #Bay, #Vietnam – Visiting Ha Long Bay was one of the #highlights of our trip to Vietnam, seeing those massive #rocks and #cliff formations coming out of the water is an experience on its own. Definitely a must-do when visiting Vietnam!
