Traveling around in the famous #longtail #boats we discovered the sandy #beach and stunning views from this little gem – something that everyone should see ＆ experience at least once in their life!
The #islands off the coast of #Krabi, #Thailand are plentiful and beautiful in their own way – Some have long sandy #beaches, others more rocky beaches with #lush #greenery. It is an amazing place to go island hopping and I can only recommend putting Krabi and its islands on your #bucketlist!
It’s snowing & cold outside, so I thought it would be a good idea to start the new year by looking back on past trips to those #exotic places that you dream about during these times – Visiting #Thailand last year we had the chance to take a trip to the #islands in #Krabi and it is as beautiful as you imagine! Clear blue water, beautiful #beaches and everywhere the iconic #longtail boats carrying you from one island to the next. Definitely one trip you should put on your #bucketlist!
The St. #Wolfgang’s #Church in #Rothenburg ob der Tauber in #Bavaria, #Germany was built from 1475 on by a brotherhood of shepherds and formed part of the #bastion guarding the city. Back then the wool trade was important and fed to the growth of the city. Even today one of the main roads to the #old #town leads through the church’s northern gate.
The city of #Rothenburg ob der Tauber is one of the famous stops along the “#Romantic #Road” in #Bavaria, #Germany and a must-see for its #medieval #architecture. Initially a settlement by Celts from around 275 BC, the city of Rothenburg was founded in 1170 with the building of the Staufer #Castle within. The city quickly grew and became a free imperial city by 1274, with the addition of the Franciscan Monastery and St. James’ Church, becoming one of the largest 20 cities in the Holy Roman Empire.
