The interior #courtyard of #Castle #Neuschwanstein in #Bavaria, #Germany – built in the style of the old German #medieval castles, #King #Ludwig planned to build a more grandiose place to reside at than his father’s castles throughout Bavaria. His commitment and close involvement during the castle’s building led to this beautiful #landmark in the southern part of Germany.

Next on the list is the famous #castle of #Neuschwanstein, deep in the south of #Germany. This #beautiful castle is said to be the inspiration of the Walt #Disney castle – built in the 19th century by #King Ludwig it was well maintained throughout the last 150+ years and is one of the main #attractions to visit in southern Germany – definitely something you should consider on your bucket list!

Over the years I have taken tons of photos of beautiful #castles and #medieval towns all across #Germany that I want to share with you – kicking it off with one of my favorites: #Burg #Eltz. Hidden in the deep #forest of the #Eifel this castle from the 12th century remained unscathed and is still in an amazing condition today. Definitely a must-see that you need to add to your bucket list!
