The view of the #downtown #Manhattan, #NY skyline from the #DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) #waterfront – literally standing below the Manhattan Bridge in the early morning hours just after #sunrise, with the warm sunlight lighting up the #skyscrapers of New York’s Financial District. Definitely a view worth getting up for early in the morning!

Trinity Church and Wall Street
What is #WallStreet? “Wall Street is between a river and a graveyard” – this old saying perfectly pictures Wall Street that stretches between the #East #River and #Trinity #Church in #downtown #Manhattan, #NY. In the early morning hours you can see the sunlight shining directly on Trinity Church, lighting it up in perfect light while the rest of Wall Street’s high-rise buildings are in the shade… definitely a view work experiencing!
Fearless Girl at Wall Street
The #FearlessGirl – The unique bronze #statue by Kristen Visbal on #WallStreet, #Manhattan promotes female #empowerment in a rough environment. Moved from it’s original place facing the Charging Bull statue, it’s now facing down on the #NewYork #StockExchange in the Financial District of #NewYorkCity.
Inside the Oculus
Inside the #Oculus in #downtown #Manhattan, #NYC at night, completely deserted and with only one of its #security guards watching over the main floor.
The Oculus, also known as #WorldTradeCenter Transportation Hub is one of the main hubs in #NewYorkCity connecting most of the subway and #NewJersey transit lines, so seeing it almost completely empty is a unique picture! It was build as part of the #WTC rebuilding efforts, with an amazing and unique #interior design – something you have to visit when you’re in the #city!

Like a Phoenix from the ashes
Is there any picture that stands more for #NewYork than a yellow #NYC #cab in front of the #WorldTradeCenter, with the #Oculus “rising like a Phoenix from the ashes”? This description is true now as it was after 9/11, the city is finally recovering from the pandemic and getting back to its old glory. Took this shot in the early morning hours with some nice sunlight shining through the urban canyons of #Manhattan’s #skyscrapers.
