Visiting Singapore is an amazing experience, especially during Christmas / New Year’s Eve time, when everything is decorated and the city is in a really festive mood – while it’s still nice & warm outside to take a stroll through the city.
The Marina Bay Sands #resort in #Singapore is one of the world’s most recognizable luxury resorts, with its round shaped #Skypark on top, overseeing the #Marina #Bay and #downtown Singapore. Definitely a place where you can spend lots of time in its shops, museums, casino, restaurants and the pools – and a unique piece of #architecture that you won’t find anywhere else.
42nd Street at the famous #TimesSquare in #Manhattan, #NewYork City – A place that truly never sleeps: where you will see flashing lights everywhere, yellow cabs stuck in traffic, tourists taking pictures and probably one of the few places on earth where you can go shopping literally all around the clock. While New Yorkers try to avoid this place, it’s something you have to see at least once in your life!
#LongIslandCity (LIC) is a neighborhood is #Queens, #NewYorkCity that used to be an industrial hub within #NewYork. It has been redeveloped over the past decade and now features lots of galleries and high-rise buildings with amazing views on #Manhattan, though here & there you can still find old, abandoned industrial complexes that show the roots of this up & coming area.
