I wanted to release a small series of (mostly) #blackwhite #photos that I took in my favorite city for some time now, and I’m going to start with this one.
Starting off in #TimesSquare, #NewYorkCity – the beating heart and tourist #attraction of #Manhattan, #NYC in the afternoon with the #yellowcabs rushing down 7th Ave. While everyone living in the city will usually stay far away from this place, you have to visit, see and experience it for yourself once in your life!

Trinity Church and Wall Street
What is #WallStreet? “Wall Street is between a river and a graveyard” – this old saying perfectly pictures Wall Street that stretches between the #East #River and #Trinity #Church in #downtown #Manhattan, #NY. In the early morning hours you can see the sunlight shining directly on Trinity Church, lighting it up in perfect light while the rest of Wall Street’s high-rise buildings are in the shade… definitely a view work experiencing!
Fearless Girl at Wall Street
The #FearlessGirl – The unique bronze #statue by Kristen Visbal on #WallStreet, #Manhattan promotes female #empowerment in a rough environment. Moved from it’s original place facing the Charging Bull statue, it’s now facing down on the #NewYork #StockExchange in the Financial District of #NewYorkCity.
Like a Phoenix from the ashes
Is there any picture that stands more for #NewYork than a yellow #NYC #cab in front of the #WorldTradeCenter, with the #Oculus “rising like a Phoenix from the ashes”? This description is true now as it was after 9/11, the city is finally recovering from the pandemic and getting back to its old glory. Took this shot in the early morning hours with some nice sunlight shining through the urban canyons of #Manhattan’s #skyscrapers.
